Malta Clinic honored as “Outstanding Organization” by Catholic Charities

The Malta Dental and Medical Clinic in Detroit has been recognized with the “Outstanding Organization Award” by Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan.
Founded by members of the Michigan Area in 2004, the Malta Clinic was honored for “commitment to the teachings of Jesus and service to the community” in the Archdiocese of Detroit, said Paul Propson, CCSEM’s chief executive officer.
The Malta Clinic shares a building with CCSEM’s Center for the Works of Mercy. In his acceptance speech at CCSEM’s Sept. 15 awards gala, Clinic President Thomas V. Larabell, KM, said that the Clinic and the Center have worked well together to serve people in need.
“Together, we can provide a full spectrum of services to those we consider our lords, the sick and the poor of the Detroit metro area,” Larabell said.
